Initially, I was happy with this bulb, but I think I’ve stumbled upon the same issue that I think many others have reported here. Sometimes the motion detection is just ‘wonky’ and it will trigger many times throughout the evening. The bulb appears to have it’s own motion detection auto-on trigger built-in that you have no control over.
At times when the detection is going wild, even if I disable or delete any and all ST automations which trigger the light on based on detected motion, the bulb still turns on (at 100%), and won’t even auto shut off. I’ve had to just turn the bulb off.
@Muzr76, I’d be interested to hear how you’re able to craft a sharptools rule that will auto turn-off if the light is triggered by its own sensor (I know how to create a basic one, but I think it would also turn the light off on me if I purposefully turned it on). Would appreciate it if you could share.
Huge bummer about this bulb, it could be so much better.
