I was able to add my z wave exclusion and it shows on smartthings app and alexa app but unresponsive. I am not able to lock or unlock. Should I start over?
Try running a z-wave repair and reboot your ST hub. Let us know if the lock starts responding.
Where do I run a z-wave repair?
Did the z-wave repair very quick as it stated up to 10 minutes. I have not rebooted the hub but still not working. Will do the reboot now
Try this order:
- Exclude the lock
- Reboot the hub
- Pair the lock
Ensure the lock is within about 20ft of a repeater as Schlage locks are known to have issues with the Z-Wave mesh. For basic lock/unlock it should be within 30ft of the hub but a repeater is definitely recommended.
