So is there ability to change codes on the lock remotely with the app now? I’ve purchased but not yet opened the Iris from Lowes, but after reading reviews, am thinking about returning it. The customer support options from smartthings, i.e. no chat nor phone number is somewhat annoying given I want to order - or not - today if it will do what I want.
Also, does anyone know if this Schlage lock is compatible with smart things? http://www.lowes.com/pd_339589-352-FE599IR+CAM+619+ACC_0__?productId=3736071
There is an unofficial way to change codes…the thread discussing it is right under this one. http://build.smartthings.com/forums/topic/door-locks-fully-supported-by-sts/page/2/
@neighborsenterprisesllc There is a chat option. If you go to support.smartthings.com look in the bottom right of the screen. You will see a bar that says “talk to us”. You can click on that and chat with someone, if they are available.
It kept popping up, but no one answered
Yeah, if it has an amber/orange symbol that means no one is around at the moment. If it is green, they are there and will respond. If no one is there, send an email and I bet you will get a response within a few hours. At least that’s always been my experience.
