Scheduled Maintenance - 08/23/2014

Scheduled Maintenance Tomorrow

Before starting last night’s scheduled maintenance, we found an issue that could have caused more downtime than the scheduled 30 minutes. Rather than risk the extra downtime, we aborted the process, and no downtime was incurred.

Instead, we’ll be performing the scheduled server upgrades from 3-6 am ET on Sunday, August 23rd.

There will be no downtime during this process. However, we ask that you don’t make any changes to your SmartThings configuration during this window, as they won’t be saved.

We will continue to monitor system performance and update the status page to keep everyone informed of changes to SmartThings availability. You can view and subscribe to platform availability updates at http://status.smartthings.com.

Thanks,
The SmartThings team

Is this downtime to beef up the back end or is there a tease of something more to go along with this downtime?

A fan of The IT Crowd I see! As a Brit I was strangely never fond of it…

If it doesn’t work, make sure you reboot it at least twice

They’re adding the back-end infrastructure to support the V2 hub’s margarita maker.
