Scenes & White Hue Limitations

Hi,

I’m trying to understand why I can change the color temperature of my Hue lights via the ST app starling at about 2100k but in “Scenes” the warmest color available is 2700k. I ask because I used my Hue lights to help with mood & sleep (where bright daylight hours help in the winter during the day & the warmer hues help melatonin production & sleep at night). Is there any workaround for this? I’ve tried simple switching to choosing a color but it’s a little bit tricky to get right and since ST obviously supports the white tint down to 2100k, I just don’t understand the limitation when creating “Scenes”. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Sorry, I don’t have a solution, but I’m also interested in one.
I just came across this problem today.

yes, me too… I have a nice “tv night” scene that turns off all the lights in the other front rooms and the lamp behind the tv, and dims the lights by the couch and should make them a warm white… Though they are hue color bulbs, so maybe I can temporarily address it by setting a color?

Still want a full range of color temperatures on the scene settings though!
