Scan Nearby without Adding devices automatically (particularly hue bulbs)

I am trying to use teh scan nearby feature to pair a device, but when I do that, it automaticlally adds the hue bulbs that I already have integrated through the connected app. So in other words it creates duplicates of my bulbs and adds them to an unassigned room :man_facepalming: Does anyone know a way to be able to scan for other near by devices without picking up or adding the hue bulbs?

Did anyone ever answer this? Did you figure out how to get around it? Mine does the same thing. I have just been deleting them and trying not to “scan nearby” but with some of the new edge drivers I need to “scan nearby”. It’s kind of annoying! By kind of I mean REALLY annoying haha!
