The small but mighty SmartThings team sabotaged the Kardon folks who were supposed to “help” them, and now they fell out of favor with Samsung’s execs.

Wow!

Bixby is pretty prevalent in other marketing channels (eg, the fridge).

There’s room in the market for another AI assistant such as Bixby - but Samsung can’t fill it if they aren’t really, really, really committed to it.
