Samsung frame tv unable to use iOS device to load images

Hello, like many others I’m having issues using the SmartThings app to load images for art mode. The error is as follows:

To use this function, turn on The Frame and connect The Frame and your smartphone to the same network.

I have confirmed that both devices are on the same network. I have restarted the tv and the iPad. Please help!

This forum was set up several years ago so that customers could help other customers with the SmartThings home automation system.

Samsung does have an official support forum monitored by Samsung employees, and it has a section for their televisions. You might get a quicker answer there. Of course, since it has to do with the app, they might just send you back here, but I think it’s worth a try. :thinking:

Any chance your phone can connect to both 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi and the TV is using 2.4 while the phone is using 5.0?

That’s a fairly common set up issue for many home automation devices, I’m just not sure if it also affects the televisions.

There are some community members here who have Samsung televisions, so hopefully someone who knows more will comment soon.
