i have the Samsung Button. i also have this Dome Siren.
now, how can i set it up so that when the Button is pressed, the Siren’s Bell1 will play? there is absolutely no option to choose Bell1 in the SmartThings app or the ST Classic app. i did install the custom handler from here as seen in this PDF.
The last page in the pdf you linked has instructions for classic app to do just what you are asking. Did this not work for you?
it works BUT only for single press. the Button is capable of sensing double, triple, or hold down press.
so single press will ring the Dome. if someone double press, no ring. those UPS guys usually do double or triple press and i would get no alerts
