Samsung AM012TNVDCH Mini Split not connecting to wifi

Hi I recently had 4 AM012TNVDCH Samsung mini splits installed and I can’t get it to connect to my wifi. I tried to the hold timer button for a few seconds and “AP” comes up on the remote for a few seconds but never on the mini split unit itself. Another recommended method is scanning the QR code but I don’t see one on the unit.

There’s not much info on the specific unit I have online. I’m starting to think this model doesn’t even have wifi.

Many smart appliances will only connect to 2.4Ghz networks. If you have both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz, try disabling 5Ghz.

Thanks I’ll try that. I just can’t even get “AP” to come up on the unit itself. Just the remote for a few seconds then it goes away.
