Ring Doorbell 2 - Enable/Disable motion alerts based on SHM status?

Hi there,
I’m fairly new to ST, but feel that I have a pretty good grasp on the functionality and usage now that I have it installed at home, and working very well.

I’m looking for a way to possibly enable/disable the Ring doorbell motion alerts, based on my SHM’s status. For example, if my SHM is set to Disarmed, disable motion alerts. But if SHM is Armed, enable the motion alerts.

Are there any custom device handlers/SmartApps for this? Or is there a simpler way to do it that I’m missing?

You could turn off the notification from Ring, and set it up in SmartThings instead. Use a custom smart home monitor rule based on motion from the doorbell and only enabled in Away mode.
