In the process of replacing my iphone. The IOS feature to copy things over seems to work for everything bar a few passwords (probably not saved) and ST. I’m using the same apple id, passwords, etc for both the old phone and the new one (15). Right now, it just appears to be looking for the network. IOS was updated to the latest and greatest and I confirmed the latest ST is running too.
Any suggestions?.
uninstall the ST app and reinstall it fresh. You will need to re-enable get location for this iPhone if using for presence.
You probably also need to turn off “get my location from this phone” for the old iPhone, too! (I just did this a few months ago.)
You’ll also need to edit any routines that are based on presence of your new iPhone.
Thanks- it wasn’t entirely smooth. After trying to reinstall, it kept asking for my birthdate under “samsung settings” iPhone had my birthdate, and ST configuration did not have it. I went and toggled some of the ST configurations and that seemed to get me past that prompt.
This seemed to work better, but thanks for the reminder.
