Replacement sensor for Aeotec Water Sensor 6 + Aeotec Lasso Sensor

The Aeotec Water Sensor 6 has disappeared from the stores. You can only find the Aeotec Lasso Sensor and the Aeotec Water Sensor Dock. On the Aeotec website, this sensor is listed as Discontinued Product.

Does anyone know a sensor similar to the Aeotec Lasso Sensor? Not point-based, but one that guards a larger area?

Also, the reason the aeotec water sensor six has been discontinued is because Aeotec has released the water sensor seven:

Iā€™m looking for a sensor like the Aeotec Lasso Sensor, not a regular one like many.

It would not be the first time that a newer product (Aeotec Water Sensor 7) loses some of the functionality of its predecessor (Aeotec Water Sensor 6).

Have you tried contacting Aeotec support to see what they are suggesting as an alternative?

I have been using an Aqara zigbee Leak Sensor with the Aeotec Lasso Sensor. I connected the lasso to the bottom screws, I had to lengthen the leads so they would reach. You could also use the Fibaro zwave leak sensor and connect the leads to the internal connector.
