I’ve started to see repeating ‘less than 1% battery’ notifications from original ST motion sensors - as often as once an hour.
The batteries were only recently changed, the level dropped to 33% soon after replacement, where it remains at the moment, each notification likely happens any time it changes to ‘no battery’.
It’s been long known that their battery life isn’t great, and battery performance relates to temperature, but the seasonal ambient temp isn’t that low yet.
Thankfully I’ve found a setting to stop the notifications being raised to the phone, but this frequent repeat behaviour seems to be something new.
It is a little surprising that a well established driver isn’t designed to wait until the battery remains at a genuinely low level for, say, a day or so before alerting.
