Apologies if this is a dumb question, I don’t have ST(yet) as I want to check it will do what I need. If I have an intruder alarm, or CCTV or any detector which will close a relay when triggered, what devices are available which would convert that to a ZigBee or Z-Wave signal which ST could detect and act upon.
Basically I need like a light switch but with relay inputs rather than a physical push being required. I guess I could rip apart a switch to wire them into the relay, but I’d rather use a custom device if there is one
Use one of the door contact sensor that has input terminal for this. Monoprice branded one has this feature I think. But most if them zwave sensor should have it. Check before you buy.
