Radio Thermostat CT50 w/ Z-Wave

Hello, I’m new to doing custom device handlers and am trying to figure out how to get my Radio Thermostat CT50 w/ Z-Wave module to work with SmartThings. I’ve already found a device handler from RBoy called “Enhanced Z-Wave Thermostat” and installed and published it in the IDE. Now I’m just trying to figure out how to register my thermostat and use it in SmartThings.

I thought that after adding and publishing it that I could go to “Add device” and then the new device type would show up in the list of supported device. However, I don’t see any of the devices that I added, and when I go to the IDE to try and manually add the thermostat, I’m not sure how to find the device network ID for the Z-wave module.

Can someone please point me in the right direction for adding the thermostat?

You have to put the thermostat in pairing/joining mode then click add device. It should show after 30 sec ish. You might have to go in the ide and change dh after

Yeah, putting it in joining / pairing mode it just flashes the pairing light and never connects to the hub.

you clicking add device in the app? try moving it closer to hub?
