I’m looking for radiator taps that work with SmartThings. I thought bosch would work better than tado. Ideally they will work without another hub and google home since i prefer it’s routine
Do you have a SmartThings/Aeotec hub and if so, which model?
Also, what country are you in? The device selection does vary.
If you’re in Europe or the UK, and can wait until eve’s matter over thread firmware update is released for their Thermo model, that might be a good choice. But it’s not here yet.

Thanks for your help. I’m in the uk and have the SmartThings hub gen 2.
I’ll have a look at Eve although from what I understand you still need the “Eve Thermo Control” that will act as a bridge once matter support is added? If that is the case it’s the same as the bosch radiator thermostat II with the bosch controller that acts as a matter bridge too.
I might be getting it all wrong…
I’m not in a rush. I was quick to the smart home and SmartThings which ended up costing me to upgrade/change devices so I’d rather get it right.

Thank you. Sonoff is a company I trust and already have in my eco system so ordered 6(3×2 pack of valves when i needed 5)that cost the same as a tado starter kit of one valve with a hub i didn’t want. Same day delivery so I’ll post once they are installed and working

All done. It was very easy to do. Followed the instructions that came with it and added all 5 to smartthings. Used the edge driver to change it from zigbee thing to zigbee thermostat mc. All working. I’m not sure if the display on the rvt supposed to come on when changed on the app? But I’m very happy. Thanks to everyone that helped and if you want to know anything please feel free to ask

The TRV looks good 
Are you able to set different daily schedules for room temperature? e.g. Sun 08:00 - 10:00 20degC; Mon 07:00 - 08:00 20degC, 08:00 - 13:00 16degC, etc, etc?

I think you’ll have to creat a separate routine for each but itvwill work (edit: needed to add the nest thermostat to go on lol)
I have installed all available drivers from “Mariano Shared Beta Driver” but the Sonoff Zigbee TRV (TRVZB) won’t pair with Smarthings via Aeotec. Please, help. Maybe other version of driver available?
Sonoff official site speaks about “Zigbee direct connection”. But it is not clear how to “Access the Driver URL link.”
