I recently purchased some D-Link DCS-2132L cameras and was hoping to use the built-in motion sensors in conjunction with Smart Home Monitor like I do with my Ring Doorbell. Anyone have any ideas, or do I need to buy the separate motion sensor to trigger recording?
For clarity: I know I can record directly on the camera but I want to be able to A) trigger the alarm when the camera senses motion and B) record to the SmartThings app when motion is triggered. I know I can do B with a separate motion sensor module, so I guess A is really more the issue at the moment.
