Are there any plug-in z wave dimmer switches? Can someone point me in the right direction? It would be for string lights outside. Something like this, but for outside.
I don’t know of any Z wave dimmable smart plugs rated for outdoors. There are several Wi-Fi options which work with the smart life app, you might be able to get integration that way. Scenes will probably work with most brands, full-scale dimming is a different issue.
What’s your weather like? If it’s not too extreme you might be able to just put the GE plug in a protective box, you should find a good selection of those at Home Depot.

i just use an inside dimmer plug/outlet inside the garage and run a cord outside
