I had the same problem as @chadmoss
The customer service said that the computer showed 7 in stock.
But they said if none were on the shelf then they had none and I should order online.
I am assuming the hue plus is the new model.
They have the extensions for the hue plus and I am assuming last generation the hue lights strips listed for $87, 7 units on the shelf.
How is this supposed to work?

Same here. Local BestBuy wouldnāt price match HD. The HD app said check store so guess tomorrow Iāll hit a few local stores to set it I get lucky.
Daughter was able to get 5 , wife didnāt get out of work in time. Mgr told daughter she could come back tomorrow if website still showed that price and get up to 5 more.
These are the new light strips. The bar code on the shelf was probably for the old V1 ones.
I got 1 set up tonight, put it around the bottom of the microwave to light up the stove top. I have always hated how dim the light was. Definitely no longer an issue of not being able to see whatās cooking.
Canāt decide if putting an Iris PIR under there would work,have to test out the placement and LOS. Put a pan on stove and lights just turn on 
. Will have to experiment with that, so for now just have to settle with turning on/off with the Echo.
Couldnāt get to HD before they closed Sunday, but if website still shows that price, I will be hitting them up Monday. I know (ok 95% sure) I saw some on the shelf the other day. I need to go grab an Ecobee and maybe a couple Nest cams anyways .

They are only suppose to match the price for one each, retailers in a 25 mile radius, plus various online sites such as Amazon. They can also decline it if itās marked limited quantity.

I just got four of these at my local hd storeā¦ Iāll two or three more stores today.
And they seen to come with the controller as well so I guess I just connect these straight to my hue bridge.
Are there any problems using these with st?
I just picked up 4 at my local HD and they have 4 left anyone want to trade for the other 4? I can pick them up
If the inventory scanner at HD says they have 7 or 8, and have never sold any, and received them recently (say, for example, May 26th), and the location is āno home,ā itās probably stuck on a pallet in a random isle, possibly still in shrink wrap.

I am willing to trade for like a phillips hue hub and connectors etc. If I was going to sell them they would be for more money guys sorry I can sell these on craigslist for more. Or if someone has a harmony remote with hub I am looking for one of those as well and I might be able to get more of these lights I have not checked my other stores near me yet.
Oh. Thatās why. The HD is only a few miles from my closest Best Buy but it was in fact marked limited quantity. But managed to get someone to hunt them down at HD and found the last 4 tucked away on a shelf. Grabbed the whole box of 4. Couldnāt not get them all. Target and BB still have them at $89.99.

So will my local HD match this price? If I set my store to the east coast I see the $11.97 price but not at my local store. Should I try going to customer service and showing them the website on my phone?
Worst case scenario they say no.
Well the worst case is they call ATL and fix the price on website, but I donāt think thatās likely
