I am looking for either guidance on using currently available automations or scenes, or a custom app that may be out there to accomplish the following…
I am using smart dimmers for my outside lights (not smart bulbs)
I currently use 3 automations controlling the lights at the front of my house.
Outside On at Sunset - Turns the lights on … at sunset… (I know, it’s hard to believe… LOL)
At 11:05 PM, Outside overnight dimming sets the lights at 15%
Outside Off at Sunrise - Get ready… turns the lights off in the morning…
These are carryovers from migration from the old app to the new…
I recently purchased an Aeotec Multisensor 6, and would like to refine this little automation to accomplish the following:
Turn outside lights on at 100% at Sunset, and then dim to 20% at 11:00 pm. During overnight hours, I would like the lights to come on to full brightness (or maybe 80%) if motion is detected, and then after a few minutes (5-10) go back to 20% until morning when they are shut off…
also, using the lux sensor, how can i have the lights come on during the day if we have a very overcast day ( and during the winter, a storm) where it gets very dark, usually well before “official sunset”, when the first automation would ordinarily turn them on?
