Terrible that offline items don’t show in a list like things with low batteries do. Used to be front, and center with low battery devices but now gone. In fact when you go several clicks deep to offline diagnostics, like anyone shouldn’t have offline devices front AC enter, even then it fails to show many of them. Smartthings seems to take 3 steps back every turn.

I’ve seen Offline Diagnostics cards in SmartThings Now but not yet the return of the tiles in the Dashboard as others have. In my case the cards have only appeared when a hub has gone offline taking down devices with it, not when the devices themselves are offline.

[Screenshot_20261101_213057_SmartThings] I think it gets it right for me all the time, though I was initially a bit confused by how exclusions were configured and not helped by using a limited access account. They certainly picked their moment to comprehensively mess up the usability of the mobile app, just when the API changes and monetisation are kicking in to discourage users from providing their own working solutions.

The equivalent of the ‘No items’ in Android is a tad more wordy but just as lazy. You should only get it if all of the devices that are accessible to and not hidden from the mobile app have been excluded from the diagnostics and you’d think that would be a situation worthy of comment.

[image] Andrew_Bartlett: iOS v.1.7.52.* has added the message below under No items. That is a curious message. Why would any device not be supported by Offline Diagnostics? If the device is accessible to your account it should be reported, even if it is to say the connected status isn’t known or there isn’t any diagnosis that can be done. The status should, but doesn’t, always report the total number if devices available in your account along with the number excluded from diagnosis, the number connected, the number offline and the number it just doesn’t know about.

Here it is in a nutshell. 1) Smarthings does not accurately report devices that are offline, it misses many. Secondly, it no longer shows them front and center and you have to go digging into screens and even then refer to #1. Smartthings continues to get WORSE rather than better. Sounds like a platform on its way out to me (lack of customer service, lack of true development and general doesn’t give a hoot).

Imho it is ludicrous that all can seem well when it isn’t. If you select hub or hubs it shows number of devices offline.

If you select the hub and scroll to the bottom you can see which devices are offline.

This is definitely a downgrade.
