SmartThings iOS App Version 1.7.51.30 (September 2026)

new app update has been released

Just got it and it’s showing it includes faster control of devices connected to the same WiFi network.

Now I to see how local hub access works.

They appear to have removed the tile that shows the offline devices in the dashboard. That is not good! Or perhaps they moved it and I haven’t located it yet.

They moved the low battery status too but I see it.

Ya, and like you mentioned on the Android version, all of my Wallpapers in IOS have changed. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

OMG! While I was checking out the new IOS app, it just kicked me completely out. When I logged back in, it totally reset the wallpapers again!

Yes. My observations …

I found a bug in the IOS app. When I’m on the Devices tab and I’m swiping left/right from room to room, the Room Indicator Menu Bar at the top doesn’t move with me at all to show me which room I’m presently viewing. Some times it will work normally, but most of the time it doesn’t.

OK, the app update advises when the Hub and IOS device are on the same network it will allow faster control of devices. And, the latest Hub firmware advised ā€œThe SmartThings app can now communicate directly with SmartThings Hubs when the app and Hub are connected to the same local network, even when the Hub is offline. I just tried testing it with the Hub offline, and it didn’t work for me.

Where is the low battery status now located? I can’t see it at all.

in the SmartThings Now tile at the very top. If you do not see it.. go to 3 dots, choose Edit Home tab and enable it. That tile also has Routine Insights.

Hey there, enable it how. I’m not seeing anything that even lets you do batteries :frowning: hating this update. Do not like I can’t see my off-line stuff and off-line diagnostics shows nothing even though I know I have things off-line fun times.

I’ve never used off-line diagnostics before so I did that and it’s showing nothing off-line. Am I missing something? I know I have two things off-line and nothing showed up so what am I doing wrong

Routine Insights never showed up when I click X, even I enable it in the Edit Home Tab, how could I take it back? Thanks

Check if there are two dots directly below the tile. If there are… swipe left on the tile to switch it to the second one which should contain the Routine insights.

I hate the look of the new app home tab!

Light colored tiles against a light background???
No way to change the background!

This SUCKS!

With regard to identifying offline devices, does anyone know if there is there any way to see offline devices that don’t support offline diagnostics? In particular, battery operated zigbee devices are frequently (relatively speaking) off line and will not generally support diagnostics. Seems right now that the only way is to scroll through the ā€œall devicesā€ tab/page which is frustrating and error prone.

On the home tab select Location Settings, then Change Wallpaper that changes all tab backgrounds. From then on you can modify each under Manage Rooms.

From home tab, select ā€œā€¦ā€ menu → manage hubs → click on your hub and scroll to bottom. This shows all offline devices but isn’t as useful or convenient as the old dashboard offline icon

Thanks, jkp. It popped out this morning. It looks designed as a dynamic window.

Thanks! (Seems like a really strange place to hide it…)
