New Members/Locations bug?

The other day the phone presence function of a member of my home stopped working. USUALLY this gets fixed by turning off “Get my location from this phone” and re-enabling it (and then fixing the routines that use that member location).
This time after turning it off and back on - The routines cannot be fixed! Although he clearly shows as a member of my Home under Manage locations, his phone does not display in the member location section of the routine creation tool. Only my phone shows.

Anyone else have a similar problem? Suggestions?
(Maybe remove member and re-invite??)

iOS or Android? If Android, a new update is rolling out so you may want try try that.

two thing to try:

  • disable get location for this phone. uninstall the app, restart the phone, add app back, enable get location for this phone
  • if you are editing an exiting Routine. try creating a new Routine instead. if successful… remove the old Routine.

Yeah. Already tried creating a new routine (no success - the members phone isn’t an option… Grr…) I think we’ll try just re-booting the phone before the delete/re-install app approach. May try removing member and re-adding. Lots of tedious options - one of them will probably eventually work… Thanks.

Never mind… This seems to have been a member error - I think he double-clicked on “get my location from this phone”…
