Edit. Solution - The Google -SmartThings integration has been updated. Child devices are currently not supported. Most likely this was a change on the Samsung side because Alexa is affected also.

Suddenly Google Home and Alexa will not turn on or off the ceiling fan lights. This is all 3 fans. I can turn the fans on and off with voice commands but not the lights. In the SmartThings classic app the lights are on the list and I can control them with the app. I ran discovery on both Google and Alexa and they could not discover the lights.
When I try to turn the fan lights on or off using the new app, I get a message “can’t connect to device. Check device and try again.”
I rarely use the new app.
Everything looks fine in the IDE. Perhaps the update broke it?
I have rebooted the hub through the app with no difference.
