I have a multipurpose sensor in my system, but in the “My Home” overview, it shows whether the sensor is open or closed. I would rather it show the temperature. Is there a way to do that? I didn’t see any option for what to show there.
Currently no way to do this without making a custom copy of the Device Type Handler or using an alternative dashboard like web based SmartTiles.

I’ll admit I don’t fully grok the effect but the simulator method to modify a motionsensor worked for me.
