Motion Sensors Disconnected

I bought a new Smart hub, motion sensors and leak sensor. I they came and I installed everything on Saturday. I keep checking things to make sure they are working as planned. The windows phone app is not perfect by any means but the main issue is the hub lost connection with all the sensors by Monday afternoon. I restarted the hub and that didn’t help. I hit the connect buttons on the sensors and that seemed to fix the issue. I want to use this as a home security solution but if the sensors aren’t working half the time that kind of blows that idea out of the water. I’m just wondering if this is normal for SmartThings or was it just a fluke? Just debating if I should return for another brand. Thanks.
