Missing Z-Wave Learning Mode utility for ST Hub v3

I am trying to add my ST Hub v3 as a secondary controller to an existing Z-Wave network that controls my Fakro roof windows (with rain sensor) and blinds which has the Fakro ZWMP Weather Module as the primary controller.

I was able to do this previously by putting the ST Hub in learning mode through the Groovy IDE portal, which is no longer accessible. The learning mode is not available in the replacement SmartThings Advanced Web App, and although I saw ‘Learning mode’ at one stage in the Z-Wave utilities in the ST Android app (accessed from the settings against the ST Hub device), it isn’t currently available with only the ‘Z-Wave exclusion’ and ‘Repair Z-Wave network’ utilities being displayed.

The ST Hub v3 has the 49.09 firmware and the Android app is version 1.8.09.23.

The same thing happen to me where I can no longer see the learn mode available in Z-Wave utilities and now unable to remove the hub as a secondary controller from the primary Z-wave network. All my devices in ST Hub stopped working. Did you ever resolve your issue and if so, what steps did you take to restore “Learn Mode”?

The hub can only be put into learn mode if it doesn’t have any Z wave devices currently paired to it.

That’s pretty common. If you’re going to join your hub as a secondary to a different Z wave network it’s going to receive a whole new device table from the master hub.
