Migrate SmartApps?

Hi All,
My Gen 2 hub recently decided to forget all devices, so I upgraded to an Aeotec hub. I’m wondering if there’s any way to migrate my SmartApps to the new hub/location.
Thanks in advance!

Go to Automations, add routine, scroll down to discovery, and scroll down to Smart apps and you should be able to read them.

Just to note, the Aeotec hub is not an upgrade over a v2 hub.

If you created a new location and put yout hub in it, no you’re installing everything from scratch. Location is a security boundary - you cant move things from one to another.

An easy way would be to delete the old hub first and add the new hub in the same location and then re-pair all your device with the new hub. The advantage is that you won’t need to reinstall/setup your SmartApps and Routines again, you’ll just have to update them with the freshly paired devices.

The Aeotec hub has wifi and no battery backup. It’s generally called v3. Wifi is a big improvement for people who don’t have ethernet available. The v2 hub does not have wifi, but does have battery optional backup.

Make sure to add the new hub to the same Samsung account. The Apps and DTH’s will still be there ready to add into the new hub.

Thank you!

I’m finding that out. After adding all my devices, which took hours, everything just disconnected this morning. Ugh! My v2 died, so I didn’t have much choice. Guess maybe I should have got a v2 on eBay.
