As an objective third (second?) party, I agree with you. It’s only $58 and worth every penny. I have 2.

I’ve got a Harmony 650 for the TV…but still dream for the day that all AV equipment is “two way” communication, thus fixing the inevitable “state” problem. The tech to implement it has been available for 10 years, at least. Now I’m the one talking to myself 
I’m curious what the draw is for these. My wife already complains we have too many remotes (she hates the 650 for the “state” problem that always requires using the “help” button to fix, and she hates Alexa also). Even if this Harmony hub eliminates the line of sight problem, I’m sure a state problem will still occur. With 5-6 family members monkeying with my AV setup, it always happens.
As long as you only use the Harmony remotes tied to the hub, state problems should be very unlikely.
Most the state issues we had was family not pointing the remote at the entertainment center properly or long enough, and one of the devices would not get the signal.
W/the remote now sending the command to the hub over the network, the remote can be under a blanket and things still work. (Standard RF remotes can do this as well, of course.)
Since changing from my Harmony 700’s to the Harmony hub remotes, family issues w/controlling the entertainment center have been few and far between, much much less than w/the Harmony IR remotes we used previously.
Get it, it has all the functionality as the elite just not as fancy of a remote.
I had a ultimate home remote go out, I salvaged the hub to use in a bedroom with Alexa and phone.

The Harmony hub can accept 1 touchscreen remote added on in addition to the companion. The Harmony site has info on which touchscreen models can be added. There is a confusing array of similarly named models to choose from.
Harmony is almost as good at confusing model names as Hue.
FYI, these are still showing as $58 pick-up price at Wal-Mart (the Amazon price has gone again). I just nabbed a second after being quite impressed with implementing my first last night.
I do hope that Logitech and Amazon sort out proper multi-hub skills soon. There’s a second hub skill right now but from what I’ve read, it has limited functionality. Regardless, loving the ability to trigger the activities from ST.
And some of the differences between touchscreen remotes are almost as inscrutable as the differences in their names. I replaced a Touch with an Ultimate and noticed they both look and function identically. The new one is a half ounce lighter, has a very slight peak in the middle of the bottom side, yet lacks a molded ridge near the top that the older model has. It also has a tilt sensor and some nearly imperceptible haptic feedback. All that work yet they didn’t bother to improve the placement of the keys which almost everyone (well, at least anyone with a DVR) finds sub-optimal.

What do you mean about multi-hub skills, @Nezmo?
I have two Harmony hubs (family room and office) and use them separately for the systems they are tied to. Are you referring to accessing both hubs from a single remote?
I’m referring to control via Alexa/Echos. Right now you can access a single Harmony hub with the main Alexa Harmony Skill and a second with a second skill but it has some limitations I believe.
As long as the names of your routines are different , it is a decent work around. I’ve been doing it this way for a while. If you have multiple Amazon/Alexa accounts you can just keep going 2 Harmony skills/hubs for each account.
Ended up going into my local Walmart on a whim & saw in the store hanging on the hook priced at $68 but when I priced checked to confirm … it was indeed $58.

And you know how the universe works - now that we’ve all said it’s so great, it’s almost guaranteed that yours will:
- Have a difficult install
- Sporadically fail
- Result in friends and family shunning you

I have an older Logitech universal remote & love their products. If I purchase this one I would.connect the hub to smartthings & get universal control of all tv’s etc?
You can transfer your current activities and devices to the new remote/hub.
Then you can control everything from the new remote control, and you can also use Alexa and Google Home to start and stop Harmony activities, pause and play, set volume.
And you’ll have Harmony activities you can use in Smartthings. You can also control your Smartthings devices like bulbs, setting activities to turn lights on off when they start/stop.
Just get it, you need it. 
I bought this at Walmart.com last month and got the pickup savings for the same price as above. It’s good to hear that it’s still available!
I’m having difficulty getting it to do anything with my receiver and Apple TV; however, I was able to connect my projector and can now tell Google to turn on/off my projector easily, which was the primary reason why I bought it so I’m happy for now.
I tried working with Logitech tech support (offshore) to get the receiver and Apple TV working, so I can change volume/inputs/etc. but it’s just a tedious process and I haven’t had time to waste on it. I’m not sure if there’s a Harmony Hub thread in this community but I probably should find one to see if any of you experts have suggestions/tips/suggestions for my particular device troubles.
