I have 2 older Sylvania Lightly LED strips 73661 that I have been unable to get re-connected since they were deleted from the platform a few months back… Anyone able to use the older LED strips that previously worked?
check to see if @Mariano_Colmenarejo Edge Drive Zigbee Light Multifunction Mc: Edge driver will work. You should probably inquire in that thread.
if it does:
- install the Edge driver
- reset your led strips
- Add Device - scan for nearby devices
I do use them (RGBW and RGB) with @Mariano_Colmenarejo 's driver
I have followed the manufacturer and reset the devices successfully but when I search for them to pair, smartthings never finds them. They were working for 4+ years until Samsung decided to delete devices from a number of us…
I believe these are the models having issues:
most likely the instructions you followed are out-of-date if they refer to the legacy DTH.
did you try the instructions I posted above?
Could you install Zigbee Thing Mc driver.
Using Zigbee Thing Mc driver is possible to read exact model and manufacturer.
Then it is possible to check from if Zigbee Light Multifunction Mc driver is supporting your device.
Hi,
I’ve just started investigating why my Osram bulbs were showing offline in Smartthings (yeah, lazy, I could still control them through hue and google, so I left it months).
I understand the move away from groovy and the new edge drivers.
I’ve already installed the driver recommended in this thread, Multifunction Mc from Mariano.
I tried deleting and re-adding a bulb, but it adds it back with no driver selected, and the drop down list remains stubbornly empty, I cannot select ANY driver. Am I missing something?
I randomly tried to add after today a number of attempts over the past year and yesterday it quickly added and works as it previously did.
