Kwikset Z-Wave Lock Works, but SmartThings Reports it as Offline

Hello all,

I have an older Kwikset Z-wave lock that continues to function as it should - I can open/close it from the app, it auto-locks after 5 minutes as per my routine, etc.

However, on occasion, I get a notice from Smartthings telling me it’s offline. And worse, no matter how new the batteries are, it always reports them as being at 1%.

I’m using the standard Z-wave Lock driver by SmartThings, version 2024-01-30T21:36:14.726128904.

Is there a better driver to use?

you may need to check if the fingerprint of your kwikset lock is supported with the Z-wave Lock PH Edge Driver
