Im getting spammed messages from smarthings saying my ecobee and related devices have disconnected. I have unlinked and relinked the devices but keep getting the same message anytime i delete it. Im able to see the devices status when i go into the smarthings app though.
I too am having an Ecobee issue. My hub seems to be back online but my Ecobee devices are not. I ran offline diagnostic on each one before they came back. Only go back offline a minute later. They are all showing in the linked services.
Others are also seeing this…
Sorry to bump an older post but I am working through some things and trying not to bombard with new questions
Plugged my hub in last night for the first time in awhile and I’m trying to add my stuff back. The ecobee integration flow is not working for me. The login screen starts to load and then closes and I get a “missing_required_query_parameters” error without ever having the chance to enter my login credentials.
same issue here, I’m also getting the “missing_required_query_parameters” message.
edit: I does say the service is connected though, which should be an error since I have already deleted the apps in Ecobee (for some reason I had 2 ecobee apps in there)
edit2: I tried with a different phone (same app version 1.7.18) and I got the prompt to authenticate with ecobee. I can now see and control the thermostat.
Interesting. I’ll give it a try when I get home. Thanks for the tip!
We’re you using iOS or Android?
iOS on both phones. One is iPhone SE (the one with the issue) and the other an iPhone 13 Pro.
Yeah it’s a bug with the iOS app v1.17.18.18 version. An older version works fine. Drop a note to Samsung support. Age old story of shoddy testing before releasing new versions breaking what’s working.
Can confirm the latest iOS app update did not help. Bummer!
Report to Samsung support. It’s a matter of prioritization
So last night I tried again and it worked! Nothing changed on my end so I guess magic cleared it up.
