We believe that we found the root cause of the issue. For now our focus is to make sure everyone is able to continue using the ActionTiles service. We will provide updates after we go through the support queue.

I was having this problem as well (Moto G5+ , Oreo); same symptoms as you (login button did nothing) even after the 2nd method. Finally got it working but only after I deleted an existing ActionTiles shortcut on my home screen. Brought up a new instance of Chrome (quite sure I tried this previously with no success), went to my dashboard URL, and login worked…
