How to integrate nuki in smartthings

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to integrate, nuki pro 4.0 lock into smart things using one google streamer as a hub.

Do you have a SmartThings hub?

The only Nuki integration for SmartThings is Matter and for that you need a SmartThings hub, either standalone or some Samsung TVs (mentioning this in case you have a ST hub without knowing it).

You won’t need Thread adapters or more Thread border routers if you already have it working in Google Home using the Streamer.

Nuki 4.0 supports matter so you should be able to pair it with the latest SmartThings/Aeotec hub directly. You may not be able to access advanced lock features but basic controls should work. If it doesn’t let me know and will reach out to Nuki.

The fingerprints for Nuki locks in the matter-lock driver map to the lock-nocodes-notamper profile. That will only give the ability to lock/unlock the lock and no ability to set lock codes or any other capabilities.

I don’t know much about the hub needed I thought the google streamer was enough but from what I understand now, I would need another hub compatible with smart things is that correct ?

Yes, you need the Matter controller of the platform you want to use, and that can be a standalone hub or a device that has it integrated (like the Google TV Streamer for Google Home or certain Samsung TVs for SmartThings).

ok now it is clear thanks a lot!

You need a SmartThings/Aeotec hub to add any device via Matter to your SmartThings account.
