How to change new Samsung multisensor battery?

I have a new Samsung multisensor that I got a few weeks ago (latest gen), and lately it stopped responding. I reset it which worked, but now it’s reporting 2% battery…

I’d like to replace the battery, but I don’t want to rip the adhesive off the wall. Is there any way to change the battery without destroying the adhesive?

I’m surprised the battery only lasted 10 days, that seems weird.

If it’s the latest, the back cover should just slide off.
