I have an old HomeSeer WD100+ In-Wall Dimmer that has worked great for years. Recently I accidentally removed it from my hub. I’m trying to add it back in, but can’t figure out how. The SmartThings app used to have a way to add a generic Z-Wave switch/dimmer, but that seems to be missing. It makes me choose a manufacturer, and HomeSeer isn’t one of the options. I tried telling SmartThings it was a GE Z-Wave dimmer, but that didn’t work.
How can I add a Z-Wave in-wall dimmer from a company that isn’t listed in the SmartThings “Add Device” list?
Have you try’d putting the device in pairing mode and just use the “Scan Nearby” option?

I got it to work! The device doesn’t have a pairing mode, but in reading through the manual, it does have a “reset”: make sure the lights are on (press the top paddle), then quickly tap the top paddle 3 times, then quickly tap the bottom paddle 3 times. If lights turn off then on again, the switch is reset.
Then to add, as you suggested I did + > Add device > Scan nearby > Select hub > Next, pressed the top paddle once, and SmartThings found it!
