All devices I add go into Personal Devices

None of the ways suggested in the post work to add devices to a room from “Personal devices”.

There are several ways:
- press and hold on the tile of the device until another little tile pops up and select Edit
- click on thr 3 dots in the upper right of the screen and choose move to another room
- use my.SmartThings.com
- use CLI
- use API Browser+
Avoid IDE at this point,
If none of the methods work, can you describe the problem in more detail why you can’t move them. screenshots of the problem are good too.

Any topic marked “2015 Classic” refers to the 2015 version of the SmartThings app which is no longer available, so those threads are now obsolete. 
Are we sure “personal devices” CAN be moved to a room? Those are Bluetooth devices which connect directly to a Galaxy phone and are expected to be mobile, like ear buds. 
I know that back in 2021 “personal devices” were all grouped together and were unable to be assigned to other rooms, but I don’t know if that’s still true.

I was unsure. Partially the reason I asked for screenshots of their attempt to move them.

As others have said, ‘Personal Devices’ is only available on Galaxy Devices. The devices are connected directly to your phone and are not part of your SmartThings Location so can’t be moved into Rooms. It is a shame really as even being able to detect whether the devices are joined or not would be very useful.
