Home Energy Meter Gen5 3 phases

Hello Everybody,

I would like to have your support in one doubt.

I’m planning to install a Solar Panel for auto consume at my home in the coming weeks.

I would like to monitor the energy produced by the Solar panel and also the energy provided by the power company.

I was thinking to use the Home Energy Meter Gen5 3 phase since have 3 clamps , but the energy provided by the Solar panel and also by the power company are monophasic.

I would like to understand if I can use the Home Energy Meter Gen5 3 phase for the my power setup ?

Does anybody have similar setup at home ? How are you monitoring the energy produce/consumed ?

Thank you

Yes you can. I set this up for a friend of mine. It monitors the power coming in from the grid, the power in from the solar array and also the power consumed by the house. The 3 clamp Aeotec unit treats all three clamps independently. I also setup simple event logger to send the readings to google sheets.

Thanks for the clarification Simon!

Just one doubt.
The meter was the one that is powered by batteries or had 3 AC power cables ?

Thank you
