Help for migrating from one Samsung Account to another without loosing anything

I guys,
I have had a SmartThings hub for a long time. The email account is Smarthing@mydomain since day one.
I have tons of stuff there.
For the past 10 years the SmartThings App was running on my company iPhone and all my old android cell and tablets.
Since i retired last December, my personal cell is a Samsung acquired in summer 2024 and used only while on vacation outside Canada.
On that Samsung my account was registered with my @Gmail email. So far so good.
But when i launch the SmartThings app from the Samsung App Group it is already login with my Gmail and no device in the apps.

Is there a way to revert back to my old Smarthing@mydomain account without loosing all the saved password and other stuff stored in the actual @Gmail Samgung account?

How should i proceed?
Is there a way to migrate everything saved in Samsumg @Gmail account to the previous SmatThing@mydomain account.

Usually on any other device save password is done with Googles. But the Samsung forced me to use Samsung account..

Thanks
Any comments are welcome

There is no way to change the email address on your SmartThings account.

In order to move devices to a new account you will need to remove everything, factory reset devices, and run Z-Wave exclusion on all Z-Wave devices. Then you will have to start over with the app signed in to an account using your new email address.

Yes, this is stupid. But that’s the way it is.

Thanks Hal,

i guess by best is to flush my account on my samsung cell an keep the original Samsung account that match my SmartThings to avoid to start all over. Will try to get the passwords saved on cell before changing the account.

I may be wrong but I thought it was possible to switch your email address on your Samsung account at https://account.samsung.com. click on your profile, select Manage Samung account, tap on your email and there is a field to enter new email address.

In some cases, I believe you can use the transfer hub feature —> https://community.smartthings.com/t/transfer-smartthings-hub-option/291936 but as was posted recently - some V2 hubs do not show that feature. But that is a different story.

But having said all that - none of what I mentioned would apply to the OP’s situation

I thought about mentioning the “give devices to someone else” but decided against. To my knowledge it’s never been mentioned by any official post or channel and nobody seems to know the exact circumstances where it’s available. In particular there has been speculation that it is only possible for devices added recently as only recently added devices have an owner.

Well since i had only 8 passwords saved on my phone i just change my Samsung account on my cell to reflect the SmartThings account. So now i have full access to all my device in ST.
Thanks to all for your responses.
