I own an older Chamberlain garage door opener (model 248739) which has no “smart” anything built into it. I recently added the GoControl garage door opener so that I can control my garage door through Smartthings. At night, once my garage door is shut, I will lock it (thus inhibiting control using any remote device) using the original control panel. I quickly realized that once the garage door has been locked, I have no control over it via the GoControl. I like having an actual button in the garage with a locking capability, as well as Smartthings integration. Therefore, is there a device out there that basically replaces the original Chamberlain control panel, that will work with GoControl?
