Hello all.
I have Samsung gas cooktop that has Smartthings integrated. But the functionality is very basic - I can check if a burner is ON or OFF, nothing more. I want to be able to get the status of the burner and trigger an outlet - I have plugged in the vent hood (with fan & light switch modified - shorted). Is it possible to get the status of the cooktop ? Pls help

The Samsung cook top is they worst so called smart appliance I have ever seen.

Completely agree.
Same with their Refrigerator & Oven. Just shows the status but there is no other options provided for automation.
They already have the status showing in the app, it would be a simple feature to add, but I guess Samsung is not willing to take that step.
