I think they long term want nothing to do with the home consumer. They seem to be interested in basic research, control systems and large industrial enterprise. The name will continue much like Westinghouse, Philco and the like. It must be a tough and getting tougher business. IDK. Thanks for that info!

It’s official… GE has put their Light bulb unit up for sale.

I wonder what this will mean for the C by GE models, which I believe were manufactured by GE lighting. they don’t work with smartthings, but they did work with Google home, and my understanding was they were selling fairly well.
