I finally sat down and started working through some of my dead GE switches. I’ve come to the point where most of these are now outside of the 5 year warranty. Also since they don’t have you send back the dead ones I had a pile of dead ones. I’ve become pretty good at this repair over the past few days so I decided to film a teardown and repair guide to assist others. I now have a nice stock pile of working switches and the repair only costs about 5 cents per switch! Enjoy:
