My switches just showed up!
Although, have to admit, was intrigued (confused?) by the fact that these look like rocker switches but… really they don’t ‘rock’ like a typical dumb switch does. I expected them to rock on/off but be smart as well. Wonder if the wife is going to get all confused! Are the Lutron and Leviton switches the same way?
I’ve got 59 switches arriving Friday. I’m a bit afraid at the number of boxes. My FedEx guy is going to hate me. haha

Yep. We’re redoing a house and as a result it’s getting all new electrical and plumbing. I figured now was as good a time as any to buy my switches. We’re about two weeks from starting the electrical.

All common smart switches work this way to my knowledge. It gets rid of the issue of having to turn ‘on’ a switch to turn off a light when it’s in a 3-way setup. Having a physical switch that stayed engaged on or off would require mechanical parts and add to complexity and point of failure. You’ll get used to it pretty quickly, though my GF does still complain about them from time to time.

Both are much worse. Lutron looks like a remote and Leviton only clicks on the buttom. If you click the top, the face pops out.

I’m still looking for the GE Fan Controller at a good price. Only two I see on Lowes closout, won’t ship and are nowhere near me for pickup…any other suggestions?

I ordered the Fan Controller my girlfriend has been asking for, and a couple other things since they were on closeout!
It doesn’t make up for totally missing out on the Hue Light Strips deal, but at least I can make the girlfriend happy with her silly fan controller!
