I have installed Actiontiles on my tablet for all my automation. I can not open the garage doors using the tile. All other functions work well. Does Action tiles not permit opening the garage doors.
Mine works fine. However, it does prompt me to verify I want to open it. What browser are you using?

Are you running a SmartApp for your Garage door? I’m running MyQ Lite and when I press on the tile, it asks me if I want to open, then when already open, asks me if I want to close.
MyQ also allows for on / off button (opener / closer) devices to be added and those can be added as tiles in AT as well. If I use those as tiles, it immediately opens or closes without asking.

- What Device Type Handler are you using (the SmartThings default or a custom one?).

Also if you are using MyQ Lite I know there have been a couple updates recently. Might just need to update it.

I open my garage door with ActionTiles so it definitely should work. Does yours open and close through the standard SmartThings app?

Officially, we don’t have the resources to debug non "Works With SmartThings"™ devices. You may need to request support from its developer.
But if you provide a link to the Device Type Handler code, we or other folks may see something by looking at it.

The Garage Opener and Garage Closer devices were automatically created when walking through the MyQ Lite setup screens so I didn’t need to create any additional Automations to tie that to the Garage door. It’s built into the SmartApp as to whether I press the Closer or the Opener. 
So adding those devices to ActionTiles and when pressing them, they are already tied to the MyQ SmartApp.
As for the Device Types that both of those devices use is “Momentary Button Tile”

Can you tell us which device handler and which smartapp you are using? Mine only opens my garage without ever prompting me if I want to open the garage. A second press does nothing as it only sends an open command.
I am using Garadget openers and their DH. It works with Alexa , IFTT and Classic ST. I downloaded the new ST app.I find it does not have the ability to monito my security system
