I just purchase a new Galaxy Smart tag. I followed all the instructions to connect it to my phone but unfortunately without any succes .
I keep receiving that this tag belongs to someone else.
I try to reset it multiple time and try to connect it again but i keep receiving the same thing.
Please help!!
Where did you buy it?
It means what it says. It has already been paired with a Samsung account and has yet to be removed from it.
That suggests it might not be as ‘new’ as it should be. You have to be careful with returns or second user purchases for these things as if they are still registered to a Samsung account you have a problem.
I can’t remember what happens if you’ve already successfully installed it yourself without realising it, or if that is even plausible. You do get prompted to install nearby tags at inconvenient moments so I’ll throw that into the mix.
That is to be expected.
