Do you have the Frient edge driver installed?
If yes and it’s still not showing VOC, I can have a look into it and maybe create a driver.

Ah, I see. I thought that the driver doesn’t support tVOC.
You could try to find a capability attribute handled by ActionTiles that can accept the same range of values as your VOC measurement and then copy the value to a virtual device built on that capability. However the tiles in ActionTiles can have bespoke behaviour crafted for the particular capability they are displaying, so you’d need one that can display the value in a neutral way (no units, no special handling of particular values).
You could also create your own tile and display it in an iframe tile, either refreshing the tile every so often or driving it with an app and using SSE or similar. It can be a bit of a faff though.
I was considering that route, but I don’t know how to copy the value from one device’s attribute to another…
If you want use Rules API you can use [ST Edge] vEdge Creator virtual device driver.
Here is an example of copying temperature using the Rules API rule.
I can’t help more because I don’t use vEdge Creator virtual device driver anymore.
Thank you.
In the meantime I’ve actually decided to return Frient air quality sensor. The VOC readings are absolutely unreliable - spraying air freshener, holding a flame, cooking, frying…VOC stays the same. The thing that made me decide to return it is the lack of clear comm channel on their webpages for support. After couple of clicks…Eva AI agent…with 2 topics in Norvegian (sigh).
Nevertheless, thanks for the tip. It will be useful for similar situations.
Check out the IKEA VINDSTYRKA air quality sensor. The sensor inside comes from a Swiss company and is one of the best for its price.
The SmartThings edge driver is a piece of art in my opinion!
Can VINDSTYRKA directly connected to Smartthings Aeotec hub, or do you need to first connect it to Ikea Dirigera hub to use it in Smartthings?
Directly via Zigbee to the Aeotec hub. Completely local, no bridge involved.
