Firmware update for connect home

I haven’t used my Samsung SmartThings connect home with mesh extender for a couple years. I want to use it again and get the latest updates so far I am not seeing any option to do so can anyone please help

What is the firmware version you currently have? I don’t believe they have received updates in a year or two and I don’t think they are being supported any more but can’t say for certain that is the case.

The newest connect home firmware I have is 000.052.00021.

There was a tease in the recent smartthings innovation update email that said:

  • Matter 1.5: SmartThings Hubs are being updated to support the latest specification. Hubs already updated include the Aeotec Smart Home Hub 2, Aeotec Smart Home Hub, Samsung SmartThings Hub 2018 (v3), SmartThings Hub 2015 (V2), and the ThingsOne Smart Home Hub. Updates to the SmartThings Station, Samsung TVs, and other Hubs are planned for the next couple months. Read more.

I have the Samsung connect home model ETWV520 I really hope I can use this because it will be perfect for what I need it for if I have to buy a new one I The newest version I want zigbee and wave

be warned that it may not…

the WV525s appear to be no longer supported so it probably applies to the WV520s as well.

Thank you very much appreciate the information

I was able to find I barely used Samsung SmartThings home three because I wanted the Zigby and zwave capability but now I’m trying to remember why I wanted it in the first place to put with my Google Home ecosystem I use my Google pro6 routers that bypasses through AT&T router with the AT&T wireless signal turned off. So I plugged the SmartThings hub into the main Google router that is plugged into the AT&T router. I think the reason why I wanted to do this was to put anything that I can locally store on SmartThings put there and also reduce the load of all of the things that are currently on the Google Home ecosystem. I’m not sure of which devices would apply I was thinking lightbulbs lockes sensors and smart, plug and leaving everything else on the Google ecosystem with the Samsung ecosystem connect to Google. I use Phillips hue for all of my lighting. I was thinking of keeping all my TVs counters and a couple wireless air conditioners on the Google . Does anyone know the best way of doing all of this or how they would set this up any ideas?
