Fibaro Z-Wave Motion Sensor not detecting motion, but reporting temperature, lux etc

Hello,

I bought a Fibaro Z-Wave motion sensor, but I can’t get it to fully work. First I had some trouble adding it to my V2 hub, but after a few attempts it seemed to have worked. At least SmartThings managed to find it and identify it as a Fibaro Z-Wave motion sensor. It blinks when I lift it (tamper), it reports lux and temperature. I haven’t been able to detect any motion with it though (no LED feedback, nothing in SmartThings). I tried playing with the parameters, without success. Can’t seem to find any option to reset the parameters to default, but I compared the values with the ones in the manual. I’ve tried in different light conditions, at different distances etc. I got it second hand, if that makes any difference.

Anybody got an idea? Am I missing something obvious? Thanks!

Hello,
I am sorry for late response,
Have you tried to delete this sensor, reset it as it shown here:
https://manuals.fibaro.com/pl/motion-sensor/
and after reinstall the device handler? Maybe you got wrong version of it.
Unfortunately device handler software is outsourcing and it’s hard to give a good advice.
